Interior Design has a powerhouse combination in Betsy and Lauri Godfrey of Godfrey Design Consultants. This mother-daughter leadership team, with over 59 years of combined experience in a comprehensive range of design services, excels in providing award-winning solutions for commercial, developer and residential clients. "We’re highly qualified to undertake any design project from concept to installation," Betsy Godfrey, founder of the firm, says. Collaborating enables them to capitalize on each other's creativity and experience, culminating in one-of-a-kind, award-winning designs.

In 2006, Betsy was elected to the Florida Housing Industry Hall of Fame for her contributions to the housing industry. The company's awards and honors include such interior design accomplishments as: Golden Auroras, Southern Accents ASID, Sand Dollars, The Nationals, Pinnacles, ASID Design Competition First Place, and Best Motor Yacht Interior from Showboats International in Monte Carlo.

Godfrey Design Consultants, with offices in Winter Park and Naples, has clients across the United States and Europe. With an expansive array of knowledge from architectural design to yacht interior design and customization, Betsy and Lauri please their clients with contemporary, ageless and creative design solutions.

"Our company is a partnership," Betsy continues, stating how the talents of both designers complement each other and bring life to their client's vision. Lauri’s attention to detail, impeccable eye for color, balance and integration of interior elements has captured the respect of builders and developers alike. Lauri also understands the intricacies of architecture and has created award-winning designs of model homes, custom homes and lobbies. Betsy was the first woman to hold a residential contractor's license in Central Florida and was also awarded the prestigious "Life Spike" designation by the National Association of Home Builders. She also holds Florida licenses in interior design and residential contracting and is a licensed real estate broker.

Together, Lauri and Betsy bring a sophisticated and invaluable level of skill to their client's diverse needs with a warm, elegant and extraordinary approach to interior design.
