Winner of 10 Aurora Awards

Godfrey Design Consultants swept the recent 2007 Aurora Awards, winning a total of 12 awards: 10 Aurora awards and 2 Grand Aurora awards. The Grand Auroras were awarded for interior detailing of the Brooks residence, Winter Park, FL, (the project garnered a total of 5 awards) and The Regent, Naples, FL. The balance of the Auroras were awarded for projects in Naples and Sarasota. The 12 Auroras awarded Godfrey was the largest quantity of awards presented to any one entrant. The Aurora Awards honors the Southeast's most outstanding builders, planners, architects, developers, designers, interior merchandisers and other housing-related professionals within a 12-state region.

Overall, Godfrey Design has garnered hundreds of awards, including Sand Dollar, Pinnacle, and three Golden Auroras from the SEBC. An Italian-built yacht won The Best Motor Yacht Interior for 1999, presented by Showboats International in Monte Carlo. Godfrey Design has also participated in many nationally prominent “showcase” projects. In addition, in October of 2006, Betsy Godfrey was inducted to the FHBA Florida Housing Hall of Fame for her significant and lasting contributions to the home building industry.
