RECENT ASID AWARD

September 27th, Godfrey Design Consultants was awarded first place in ASID's 2009 Professional Design Competition in the Residential 5,000 sq. ft. and over category. This award was for the Casa Del Artist residence located in Maitland, Florida.

AURORA SPOTLIGHT

Godfrey Design Consultants and team* celebrated another year of excellent design recognition at the recent 2009 Aurora Awards held at the Rosen Centre in Orlando. The single project entered—Casa del Artist in Winter Park—won a total of 9 Aurora Awards for the team: 5 Auroras and 4 Grand Awards.

Overall, Godfrey Design has garnered hundreds of awards, including Sand Dollar, Pinnacle, and three Golden Auroras from the SEBC. An Italian-built yacht won The Best Motor Yacht Interior for 1999, presented by Showboats International in Monte Carlo. Godfrey Design has also participated in many nationally prominent “showcase” projects. In addition, in October of 2006, Betsy Godfrey was inducted to the FHBA Florida Housing Hall of Fame for her significant and lasting contributions to the home building industry.
