Folding Glass Wall Systems Provide Space Expansion Possibilities
Include a folding glass door wall system in your new home plans or renovation that expands and connects your living spaces. In this private residence, the folding walls separate the covered lanai and the main living areas.
When open, the large 45'x45' space connects the lanai, kitchen, breakfast area, family room and bar for a fabulous entertainment area. When closed, a wall of glass between the breakfast room and lanai bring the exterior landscaping "inside." Opened, the folding walls tuck expertly away, making them barely noticeable.
When pleasant weather beckons, the covered lanai connects with the outside gardens via remote-controlled screen walls that retract and disappear. This thoughtful planning and utilization of moveable doors and screens can expand and integrate all of your living spaces.

Since my owner, Lauri, is an interior decorator, I know a thing or two about design. And yes, I know the trends, new colors, cool materials and cutting-edge lighting.
I love romantic interiors despite my, ahem, "size." I like lush patterns, feminine details and those gorgeous new jewel tones. Got myself a new emerald-colored collar and purple paisley bed. No lace for me tho', please. (3 paw rating)
Modern architectural interiors with sharp, clean lines and neutral tones are very in. Sorry to say that bone is out…but new grays and taupes are top dog now. Form and function! Yeah! (4 paw rating)
My favorite—and one that never goes out of style—is the "Clubby" look: classic luxury with updated refinement. I am VERY comfortable in these surroundings—nice rugs for me to relax on, classy silver water bowl, pictures of me in silver frames, you get it. I give this one a big 5 paw rating!
Other "biggies" are engineered wood floors in any and all species, porcelain tiles that look like wood, for folks like "moi," carpet, fabric and more, a continuous influx of marbles, granites, onyxes, man-made quartz countertops, incredible wall finish techniques, sleek innovative lighting—both integral and decorative.
That's all for now. I'll be back next month. Boof!!
